1 1/3 C. flour

1/2 C. brown sugar

3/4 C. sugar divided

3/4 C. oleo

1 C. oatmeal, quick or old fashion

1/2 C. chopped nuts

1 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese; soften

3 eggs

1 can pumpkin

1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13x9 pan with foil. Grease foil. Mix flour, brown sugar, 1/4 C. sugar in a bowl, Cut in oleo until it resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats and nuts. Reserve 1 C. of oat mixture. Press remaining mixture in the pan and bake for 15 minutes. Beat with an electric mixer cream cheese, 1/2 C. sugar, eggs, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice until well blended. Pour over crust and sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
