SIOUX CITY -- Twenty-five thousand Easter eggs stuffed with candy and some deluxe prizes will dot the landscape of Grandview Park on Saturday, April 4, for the ninth annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt will begin at 10 a.m.
Sponsored by Clear Channel radio stations KG-95, Z98, KISS, KMNS and KWSL, eggs, candy, prizes and labor have been provided by co-sponsors Bomgaars, Palmer Candy and St. Luke"s Regional Medical Center.
The hunt will be divided into three areas for different age groups: ages 2 and under, ages 3 through 5 and ages 6 through 8. Children should gather in the northeast section of the park near Stone Park Boulevard. Youngsters should bring their own baskets and wear appropriate clothing including gloves, hats and coats. The event will take place rain or shine.
