SIOUX CITY | Students across the state competed Oct. 24 to be chosen for the Iowa All-State Festival. The 69th annual Iowa All-State Festival Concert is at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21 in Hilton Coliseum on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. Sioux City students who will take part in the All-State Festival are:

East High Band: Anna Geerlings, 1st flute; Rachel Jensen, 3rd clarinet; and Paige Susie, 1st trumpet.

East High Orchestra: Jestin Cam, viola, and Heidi Uhl, 1st flute.

East High Choir: Ally Belcher, Madi Miller, and Whitney Wolf, soprano; Grace Bucy, Hannah Ehmcke, Taylor Henry, and Sydney McManamy, alto; Austin Clayton, Jacob Cook, Alex Holmberg, Hunter Milner, Jesse Pederson, and Austin Skolowski, tenor; and Conner Beach, Logan Curtis, David Ehmcke, David Graham, and Alex Melville, bass.

North High Band: Ben Medbourn, 3rd clarinet; Grant Hein, 2nd cornet; Aidan Shorey-euphonium; Quinn Adajar, 1st alt alto saxophone; Elizabeth Glade, 1st alt tenor saxophone; and Faith Harvey, 2nd alt baritone saxophone.

North High Orchestra: Anya Shorey, bassoon; Robert Hwang, violin I; Trina Swanson, violin I; Jackie Toben-violin I; Kaylee Henn-violin II; and Ben Gillete-alt string bass.
