REMSEN, Iowa -- A local man died after becoming trapped inside a grain bin south of Remsen. 

According to a press release, 65-year-old Lee Grage died after becoming stuck in a grain bin on his farm at 44787 230th St. Authorities were called to the farm at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Despite rescue efforts, Grage was found dead inside the bin. 

Rescuers and first responders from the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department, Remsen Fire, Le Mars Fire, Kingsley Fire, Marcus Fire, Kingsley Ambulance, Remsen Ambulance, Kingsley Police Department, Remsen Police Department, Marcus Police Department and Mercy Air Care were all present at the scene.
