SIOUX CITY -- The City of Sioux City Engineering Division will begin work on Monday, Aug. 6, on sealing cracks and joints along several city streets.

The 2018 Annual Crack Sealing Project will begin with South Cornelia Street, South Coral Street, South Glass Street and South Martha Street from Lorraine Ave. to Lincoln Way.

The project will include Glen Oaks Boulevard from Outer Drive to 31st Street, Cheyenne Boulevard from Outer Drive to 29th Street, 35th Street from Glen Oaks Boulevard to Pawnee Place, and Division Street from Outer Drive to Pueblo Court.

The project is expected to be completed by early September, weather permitting.

This project will include intermittent lane and full road closures. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, drive cautiously and obey traffic control signs and barricades with regards to this project.
