DOON, Iowa -- Three Rock Valley people have been arrested in connection with a recent attempted burglary in Doon. 

According to a press release from the Lyon County Sheriff's Department, an attempted burglary at the 100 block of Main Street in Doon was reported to the department on July 25. A previous attempted burglary had occurred at the same location two days earlier. 

On Aug. 2, a 17-year-old from Rock Valley, Iowa, was charged with two counts of third-degree attempted burglary and one count of possession of burglar tools. The juvenile was released from custody to a parent. 

On Aug. 4, 19-year-old Grant Zevenbergen was arrested by the Rock Valley Police Department on an outstanding Lyon County warrant stemming from the burglary investigation. He was taken to the Lyon County Jail and charged with third-degree attempted burglary. 

On Aug. 6, 20-year-old Alexandra Hudson of Rock Valley was arrested on an outstanding Lyon County warrant, also stemming from the burglary investigation. She was taken to the Lyon County Jail and charged with third-degree attempted burglary and possession of burglar tools.
