STORM LAKE, Iowa -- A Storm Lake woman was jailed on drug charges after a traffic stop. 

According to a press release from the Storm Lake Police Department, at around 9:22 a.m. Monday, an officer stopped a vehicle on West Fifth Street after recognizing the driver, who had a revoked driver's license. 

The driver, 24-year-old Edna Garza of Storm Lake was taken into custody. Police also located drug paraphernalia in her vehicle and seized it. 

Once she was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail, Garza was found to still be in possession of more drug paraphernalia. 

The SLPD charged Garza with possession of contraband in a correctional facility (a class D felony), driving while license revoked (a serious misdemeanor) and possession of drug paraphernalia (a simple misdemeanor).  She was held on $6,300 bond.
