SIOUX CITY -- Two men who were wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force have been found.
Phillip Jackson Jr., wanted by the Woodbury County Sheriff's Office for possession of a firearm by a felon, turned himself in Feb. 5. He posted bond and was released pending his court date.
John Desart was wanted by the Iowa Department of Corrections for violating the terms of his parole by possessing a firearm as a felon. Desart was taken into custody after deputy U.S. Marshals took him into custody at a near northside apartment. He is currently being held in the Woodbury County Jail.
