SIOUX CITY -- A Sioux City man has been arrested on felony charges related to a drive-by shooting in Morningside.
Court documents on Tuesday described the arrest of Caleb Harding, 18, for intimidation with a dangerous weapon and going armed with intent.
Police officers were called to a report of shots fired in the 5100 block of Lorraine Avenue at 2 a.m. Monday. Multiple shots were fired at a home in the area.
The court documents filed Tuesday said Harding conspired with an accomplice "to invoke fear in an individual that they were feuding with." Police said Harding and three others drove by, then Harding and one other person shot at the home where four people were inside. The bullets went through windows, doors and siding, but no one was struck in the shooting.
Harding was also cited for texting while driving, after police observed his actions later Monday in the 600 block of Fifth Street downtown.
At that time, police said Harding was found in possession of two 9MM pistol firearms, and he did not have a permit to carry concealed weapons. Police said 40 rounds of ammunition were found with the pistols.
