Sioux City man pleads not guilty to sexual contact with girl

SIOUX CITY -- A Sioux City man has pleaded not guilty to having sexual contact with an 11-year-old girl.

Jacob Rose, 35, entered his written plea Friday in Woodbury County District Court to assault with intent to commit sexual abuse and lascivious conduct with a minor.

According to court documents, Rose was serving as a substitute speech therapist for the girl on May 31. During their therapy session, Rose engaged in several types of sexual contact with the girl.
