SIOUX CITY | Two Siouxland men sought by the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force have been captured.
The task force reported Monday that Corey Smith, 25, and Brandon Sewalson, 35, were both taken into custody last week. Both were wanted by the Woodbury County Sheriff's Office for violation of probation.
Smith turned himself into the Woodbury County Jail on Feb. 27 after the task force issued a news release asking the public for information on his whereabouts.
Sewalson was arrested Feb. 28 after the task force received a tip on his location. He was taken into custody by Sioux City Police officers and booked into the Woodbury County Jail.
