STORM LAKE, Iowa -- A Storm Lake man was arrested on a harassment charge after making threatening statements to children at an apartment complex.

According to a press release from the Storm Lake Police Department, officers on Thursday took a report of an incident that occurred Wednesday evening at an apartment complex at 1405 N. Seneca St.

Witnesses told officers that 47-year-old King Kong Choul of Storm Lake had chased several children around the apartment complex, telling them he would kidnap them, cut them into pieces and eat them.

Officers found Choul at the apartment complex Thursday afternoon and arrested him, charging him with first degree harassment (an aggravated misdemeanor).

He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
