STORM LAKE, Iowa | Two boys were hurt when a minivan hit the bicycle they were riding in Storm Lake, Iowa, on Wednesday.

The boys, 12 and 13, were hit in the 100 block of West Fifth Street at about 5 p.m. Storm Lake police say the boys rode the bike into traffic.

The 13-year-old boy and the bicycle were pulled under the driver's side tire. Police say the boy hurt his arms, legs and feet.

He was taken by ambulance to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center. Police didn't know the boy's condition Thursday morning.

The 12-year-old had minor injuries to his arm and knee.

Police say the driver of the minivan will not be charged, because she didn't commit any traffic violations.

The boys' names were not released.
