SIOUX CITY -- The U.S. Marshals Service arrested a wanted fugitive plus nine others Tuesday at a house in Sioux City's Riverside neighborhood.

Law enforcement officials received a tip that Chad Hughes was at a house in the 2100 block of Nash Street. When law enforcement officers arrived at the house, two men fled and discarded firearms as they ran. Both men were apprehended.

Officers surrounded the house, and Hughes emerged along with the others who were inside. All were taken into custody. Hughes had been wanted for violating his probation after being convicted of escape.

Brody Cobbs was arrested on charges of frequenting a disorderly house, three counts of probation violation, interference with official acts, simple eluding, carrying a dangerous weapon and possession of marijuana.

Brandon Esquibel was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, parole violation, possession of methamphetamine, frequenting a disorderly house, interference with official acts, attempt to disarm a police officer, simple eluding and trafficking a stolen firearm.

Seven others were arrested on charges of frequenting a disorderly house: Laverna Taylor, Sydney Swanson, Destani Archer, Daryl Taylor, Jason Rice, Jordan Case and Eric Curtis.
