SIOUX CITY | Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally at 12 p.m. Sunday at the Sioux City Convention Center, 801 Fourth St.

Trump was last in Sioux City a day before the Iowa caucus on Jan. 31 at the Orpheum Theatre.
Trump's Sunday appearance is in an effort to win over the battleground state of Iowa and its six electoral votes as the general election nears on Nov. 8.
According to the Real Clear Politics polling average in Iowa Thursday, Trump leads his challenger, Democrat Hillary Clinton, by 1.4 percentage points.
On Wednesday, Bill Clinton held a rally in Sioux City to win over support for his wife at the Anderson Dance Pavilion.
