YANKTON, S.D. | Hunters must remove duck blinds permitted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Lewis and Clark Lake by May 1.
The removal applies to all blinds approved for the 2016-17 waterfowl season on the lake and public lands. Blinds and related personal property must be removed to protect the lake and cause minimal disturbance to wildlife.
Blinds and personal property not removed by the deadline are subject to impoundment, or park rangers could issue citations to the owners.
Duck blind permit applications for the 2017-18 season are planned to be released in July.
