State totals

  • Iowa had reported 81,222 cases of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19: 20,738 active cases, 59,199 recovered cases and 1,285 deaths. Two hundred and eighty-five patients were hospitalized. At least 662,292 people have tested negative for COVID-19.
  • Nebraska had accounted for 41,388 cases: 9,889 active cases, 31,047 recovered cases and 452 deaths. One hundred and eighty-five people were hospitalized. At least 386,658 negative tests have been tallied.
  • South Dakota had tallied 19,189 cases: 2,817 active cases, 16,170 recovered cases and 202 deaths. At least 159,157 people have tested negative. One hundred and seventy-eight people were hospitalized.

  • Plymouth County: 395 active cases; 643 recovered; 1,058 total; 20 deaths; 18.8% positivity rate

  • Dixon County: 98 total cases; two deaths; 16 cases in last 14 days
  • Union County: 44 active cases; 310 recovered; 360 total; six deaths; 11.6% positivity rate
  • Sioux County: 536 active cases; 839 recovered; 1,378 total; three deaths; 29.9% positivity rate
  • Lyon County: 93 active cases; 169 recovered; 265 total; three deaths; 22.4% positivity rate
  • Ida County: 66 active cases; 38 recovered; 104 total; 17.7% positivity rate
  • Cherokee County: 68 active cases; 134 recovered; 204 total; two deaths; 12.3% positivity rate
  • O'Brien County: 128 active cases; 177 recovered; 314 total; nine deaths; 14.5% positivity rate
  • Osceola County: 40 active cases; 94 recovered; 134 total; 24.1% positivity rate
  • Sac County: 118 active cases; 103 recovered; 221 total; 18.2% positivity rate
  • Buena Vista County: 132 active cases; 1,808 recovered; 1,952 total; 12 deaths; 12.2% positivity rate
  • Clay County (Iowa): 62 active cases; 231 recovered; 296 total; three deaths; 10.5% positivity rate
