Henrietta De Jong, 92, of Orange City, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at Prairie Ridge Care Center in Orange City.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Redeemer United Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Todd De Rooy will officiate. Interment will be prior to the service in West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City. There will be a family prayer service at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. Survivors include her two daughters, Mary Jane De Jong of Bradenton, Fla., and Fayola Beth and her husband, David Vander Veen of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a son and his wife, Bryan and Gail De Jong of Waukee, Iowa; two grandchildren, Benjamen De Jong and his wife, Emily, and Lindsey De Jong; a great-granddaughter, Abigail De Jong; three sisters, Albertha Van Roekel of Sheldon, Iowa, and Ella Vander Windt and Lois Snieder, both of Orange City; and two sisters-in-law, Arlene Gesink of Orange City, and Winnifred De Jong, of Ireton, Iowa.
