Mark W. Kemp, 56, of Sioux City, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 8, 2018.
A celebration of life service will be 6 p.m. Saturday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be directed to meyerbroschapels.com.
Mark, the son of Norbert A. and Vicki E. (Ludwigs) Kemp, was born on May 14, 1962, in St. Louis, Mo. He attended West High School. He worked for Tyson Foods as a maintenance supervisor in the Hide Plant for more than 10 years.
Mark was a Harley man, who enjoyed riding and wrenching on bikes. He enjoyed family gatherings and grilling out. He also liked fishing and playing with his dog, Champ.
Mark is survived by a son, Michael Kemp and a daughter, Joslin (Adam) Albert, all of Sioux City; two brothers, Norbert (Tracy) Kemp of Tucson, Ariz., and Keith Kemp of Buda, Texas; one sister, Sherri (Dale) VanPelt of Grand Junction, Colo.; two grandchildren, Blake and Alex Albert; several special nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Champ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Joseph Paul.
