Black Raiders coach Brian Drent went mostly with a man-to-man defense in the second half, allowing players like Madi Van Dyke and Nyamer Diew better opportunities to block out their opposition and get more rebounds. It worked.
"The goals are to win conference again with my teammates and get to the region finals," Diew said of her Black Raiders. "100 percent, no doubt, I think we can do it. If there is any year, it's this year."
