SIOUX CITY | The Salvation Army of Siouxland began its annual Red Kettle Campaign Thursday, with 15 bell ringers stationed at locations around Siouxland.
The Salvation Army expects more than 500 volunteers to register to ring bells over the course of the season, which ends on Christmas Eve. Those interested in volunteering can sign up at registertoring.com.
Donations can be sent via mail to PO Box 783, Sioux City, Iowa, 51102 or online at salvationarmysiouxland.org. This year’s goal is to raise $180,000 in assistance to more than 650 families and services like food, housing, transportation and more.
