WESTFIELD, Iowa | A Westfield, Iowa, man, accused of a sex crime involving a 12-year-old, turned himself into law enforcement Tuesday.
Dennis Paul Kroll, 62, surrendered himself to the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office, according to a release.
Kroll had a warrant for his arrest on a charge of second-degree sex abuse, the release said. The warrant was a result of an April 22 investigation when a guidance counselor from a local school reported Kroll sexually abused the alleged victim.
Kroll is being held at the Plymouth County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Westfield is about 22 miles northwest of Sioux City.
