Let's put the blame on school shootings where it belongs. The weapon used is not the problem, it is who is using it. We can pass law after law, but if a person wants to get a gun, they will.

The laws we have in place failed this time for whatever reason, and more will fail also. Until we protect our schools like we do the airports, courthouses, and government, this will continue. The USA is not the country we used to be. Our society has changed big time and we better change our ways of doing business.

We need to spend our money at home, bring our troops back and close the borders. The countries we are trying to protect hate us anyway. The billions we send to them will pay to protect our own. Let's let the teachers do their job and the police and military theirs. Teaching starts at home with discipline. The young generation of today have grown up with very little of it. Very few actually sit down and talk to them. We text, tweet, and email. God forbid you talk face to face and actually listen to them when they need help. Bullying is way out of hand and when it becomes too much with no help to stop it, things go wrong. Kids can be very mean to each other and become their own worst enemy. It needs to be stopped.

We can become great again if we all work together. - Frank Stanfield, Sergeant Bluff, Iowa
