ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) -- Terrance Gore scored on an error in the ninth inning to help the Omaha Storm Chasers secure a 4-3 victory over the Round Rock Express on Saturday. The Storm Chasers have now won four straight games while the Express have dropped eight in a row.
Gore scored on the play after he reached base on a walk.
Cam Gallagher hit a two-run single in the third inning to give the Storm Chasers a 2-0 lead. The Express came back to take a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning when Hanser Alberto hit a solo home run.
Omaha tied the game 3-3 in the seventh when Paulo Orlando hit a solo home run.
Eric Stout (3-3) got the win in relief while Tayler Scott (4-5) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game. Jake Newberry retired the side in order for his third save of the season.
In the losing effort, Round Rock got contributions throughout its order, as six players collected at least two hits. Alberto homered and singled.
