HAWARDEN, Iowa -- Payton Schwiesow scored 18 points as the No. 11 (2A) West Sioux girls basketball team downed Hinton 56-41 in a War Eagle Conference game on Tuesday in Hawarden.

Abbie Ericson finished with 13 points for West Sioux (18-3).

Bryce Klein had 13 points for the Blackhawks (6-14).

SOUTH O'BRIEN 52, HARTLEY-MLEVIN-SANBORN 47: Megan Waterman scored 15 points to help the Wolverines close out their regular season with a War Eagle Conference girls basketball win over the Hawks in Hartley, Iowa Tuesday.

Hannah Dau also scored 12 points and Isabelle Faust 10 for South O'Brien (15-6). Hannah Jochim had 10 points to lead HMS (8-13).

UNITY CHRISTIAN 94, REMSEN ST. MARY'S 29: Janie Schoonhoven scored 26 points to lead the Knights to a War Eagle Conference girls basketball win over the Hawks in a game played in Remsen, Iowa Tuesday.

Justine Malenke also added 14 points and Cori Franken 10 for Unity Christian, which ends its regular season with a 16-5 record. Sydney Schroder had seven points to lead St. Mary's (3-18).

WOODBURY CENTRAL 60, LAWTON-BRONSON 35: Sally Gallagher scored 13 points as the Woodbury Central girls basketball team defeated Lawton-Bronson 60-35 in Western Valley Conference action on Tuesday in Lawton.

Maddie Paulsen finished with 12 points for Woodbury Central and Lindsie Graff added seven.

Kaitlyn Ricke scored 13 points for Lawton-Bronson (7-13) and Hayley Williams had 12.

Woodbury Central scored 11 points in both the first and second quarters, and limited Lawton-Bronson to seven in each of those quarters, to take a 22-14 lead at halftime. The visiting Wildcats extended their lead to 40-29 heading into the final frame.

Woodbury Central concludes its regular season with a record of 15-6.

NEWELL-FONDA 79, SIOUX CENTRAL 45: Olivia Larsen scored 19 points as the fourth-ranked (1A) and undefeated Newell-Fonda girls basketball team defeated Sioux Central 79-45 in a Twin Lakes Conference game on Tuesday in Newell.

Megan Morenz finished with 13 points for Newell-Fonda (21-0) and Jenna Coppock added 12.

Dani Boettcher scored 15 points for Sioux Central (15-7) and Shera Smith had nine.

MOC-FLOYD VALLEY 58, SIBLEY-OCHEYEDAN 41: Jazlin De Haan scored 12 points as the MOC-Floyd Valley girls basketball team improved to 9-12 with a 58-41 win over Sibley-Ocheyedan in a Siouxland Conference game on Tuesday in Orange City.

Kelli Greenfield led Sibley-Ocheyedan (3-18) with 11 points.

WESTERN CHRISTIAN 68, LE MARS 56: The No. 4 Wolfpack (Class 2A) got 28 points from Ashtyn Veerbeek and upended the No. 9 Bulldogs (4A) in a Lakes Conference girls basketball game played in Le Mars, Iowa Tuesday.

Olivia Granstra also chipped in with 15 points and Ally Postma 11 for Western Chrtistian (18-3). Madison Dreckman scored 24 points to lead Le Mars (14-5).

CHEROKEE 74, SPIRIT LAKE 61: The No. 3 Braves (Class 3A) wrapped an unbeaten run through the Lakes Conference with a win over the Indians in a girls basketball game played in Spirit Lake, Iowa Tuesday.

Lindsay WIlliams scored 14 points, Kassidy Pingel 13, Teagan Slaughter 12 and Paityn Hagberg 10 to lead Cherokee (19-1 overall). Brooke Harrington had a game-high 16 points and Jordyn Hamm 12 for Spirit Lake (10-11).

SOUTH O’BRIEN 52, HMS 47: Megan Waterman scored 15 points as the South O’Brien girls basketball team downed Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn 52-47 in a War Eagle Conference game on Tuesday in Hartley.

Hannah Dau finished with 12 points for South O’Brien (15-6) and Isabelle Faust added 10.

Hannah Jochims had 10 points for HMS (8-13).

WEST HARRISON 52, RIVER VALLEY 42: Cassidy Hatcher scored 16 points as the West Harrison girls basketball team improved to 4-16 with a win over River Valley on Tuesday in Correctionville.

Brittany Meyer finished with 13 points for River Valley (0-19).

OKOBOJI 50, GEORGE-LITTLE ROCK 32: Ali Goehring scored 13 points to help the Pioneers close out their regular season with a win over the Mustangs in a Siouxland Conference girls basketball game played in George, Iowa Tuesday.

Magan Christopherson also scored 11 points and Kallyn Stumbo 10 for Okoboji (17-4 overall, 13-4 Siouxland).

CARROLL KUEMPER 51, DENISON-SCHLESWIG 41: Aimee Adams scored 16 points to lead the Knights to a Hawkeye Ten Conference girls basketball win over the No. 8 Monarchs (Class 4A) in a game played in Carroll, Iowa Tuesday.

Sarah Heilesen scored 14 points and Alex Mohr 11 to pace Denison-Schleswig (15-5 overall, 7-3 conference).
