PANORA, Iowa -- Alta-Aurelia's Annika Patton finished third at the Class 2A Girls State Golf Tournament at Lake Panorama in Panora on Wednesday.
Patton, who won the individual title a year ago, shot 83 on the second day after recording a 78 on Tuesday to finish at 161. Dike-New Hartford's Morgan Weber was the individual medalist shooting 75-73--148 and Garner-Hayfield-Ventrua's Bailee Frayne was the runner-up going 79-81--160.
Okoboji's Hannah Butler finished tied for fourth at 82-81--163 and teammate Martha Stein shot 89-86--175. Okoboji also got a 186 from Grace Butler, Olivia Smith shot 224 and Faith Pearson recorded a 232.
Alta-Aurelia's Erin Lockin shot 182 over the two days, Sydney Stanton had a 220, Laney Stanton shot 228, Morgan Wilson carded a 237 and Ellie Kaskey finished at 244.
Unity Christian's Kate Fessler recorded a 190, Justine Malenke had a 194, Laura Beltman shot 197, Kerri Kroeze recorded a 203, Chloe Krommendyk carded a 208 and Cori Franken had a 252.
MVAOCOU's Sydney Funermann finished with a 212.
Okoboji finished third shooting 747 as a team, Unity Christian was fourth at 776 and Alta/Aurelia tied for sixth at 788. Van Meter won the team title shooting 733.
Woodbury Central's Sally Gallagher finish tied fourth at the Class 1A Girls State Golf Tournament at American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown on Wednesday.
Akron-Westfield finished fourth with a team total of 768, Woodbury Central was eighth with a 793 and Hinton took ninth with an 808.

Gallagher shot 80 on Wednesday after firing an 83 on day one for a 163. Hanna Stratton shot 199, Sidnie Graff finished at 212, Megan Warren recorded a 219, Casie Petersen added a 243, and Sarah Crichton had a 244.
Akron-Westfield was led by Autumn Bundy who finished 19th going 90-95--185. The Westerners got a 195 from Danika Smith, Brooke Koele shot 195, Alayna Mullinix recorded a 199 and Kayla Johnson added a 203.
Hinton was paced by Lauren Kipp's two-day total of 194, Mackenzie Grenko added a 198, Hannah Vondrak carded a 201, Claire Kipp had a 216, Lizzy Nohr added a 217 and Emma Webb recorded a 219.
Remsen St. Mary's Tori Galles took five strokes off her first round score to finish tied for 21st at 96-91--187. Sioux Central's Whitney Anderson shot 91-97--188 to tie for 23rd. Lawton-Bronson's Sara Sappingfield and South O'Brien's Rachel Sohn both carded 195.
New London's Casey Noble was the the medalist shooting 77-76--153.
Spirit Lake's Marisa Weeks finished tied for seventh at the Class 3A Girls State Golf Tournament at Coldwater Links in Ames on Wednesday.
MOC-Floyd Valley, which finished 10th as a team, was led by Alexa Arends who tied for 29th place going 87-92--179. Brooke Venema, who did not not play on Tuesday, shot 118 on Wednesday and Jaden Zenor shot 192. Brooklyn Dau had a 206, Sophie Swart shot 221 and Madisyn Mulder had a 238.
Gilbert's Britta Snyder was the medalist shooting 70-72--142 and Washington won the team title.
