NORFOLK, Neb. | Kylie Hammer of Wayne posted first-place finishes in both the long jump (16-11.50) and the triple jump (37-4.50) during Thursday night’s Northeast Nebraska Track Classic at Johnny Carson Field.

Hammer’s teammate, Jenna Trenhaile, won the discus (123-11). Individual firsts in the girls portion of the 23rd annual event also came from Emerson-Hubbard’s Paige Steinman in the 3,200 (11:36.15) and Crofton’s Monica Arens in the shot put (43-5.50).

Hartington Cedar Catholic won both 4x400 relay events. The girls were clocked in 4:13.66 and the boys were timed in 3:31.57.
