SIOUX CITY – Briar Cliff took three straight games from Mount Marty, 25-20, 25-21, 25-16 in a Great Plains Athletic Conference volleyball match Wednesday at the Newman Flanagan Center.

The Chargers, now 11-9 overall and 5-6 in the GPAC, got a match-high 11 kills from Courtney Schafer and had a .361 attack percentage compared to .173 for Mount Marty.

Grace Hanno added eight kills, while Noel Phillips had four kills, two block assists and one solo block. Maureen Imree finished with 16 set assists and Delaney Meyer 13 assists, six digs and two ace serves.

Mount Marty was paced by Brooke Bennett with eight kills and Elizabeth Watchorn seven kills and Alex Bargstadt with 23 assists.

NORTHWESTERN 3, DWU 1 : No. 12 Northwestern handled Dakota Wesleyan 25-11, 20-25, 25-17, 25-16 in Mitchell, South Dakota on Wednesday.

The Red Raiders were led by Lauryn Hilber's 16 kills and Josie Blankespoor added 15 while Makenzie Fink added 11.

Lacey Wacker had 49 assists and Hilger added 22 digs.

DWU was paced by Chelsey Heeg's 11 kills.

Northwestern is now 9-2 in the GPAC and 18-5 overall while DWU fell to 2-9 and 12-11.
