MADISON, S.D. -- Morningside rolled to a 25-22, 25-21, 25-20 victory over Dakota State here Friday.

The Mustangs got 16 kills from Krista Zenk and Emma Gerber added nine while Caitlin Makovicka finished with eight. Callie Alberico had 32 assists while Zenk set the pace with 17 digs.

Dakota State was led by Maddie Polzin's 10 kills.

Morningside is now 12-8 on the season while Dakota State is 11-10.

OMAHA 3, USD 1: Omaha remained undefeated in the Summit League with a 25-21, 10-25, 26-24, 25-23 win over South Dakota in Vermillion on Friday night.

The Coyotes got 14 kills from Hayley Dotseth and 13 from Taylor Wilson. Madison Jurgens dished out 37 assists and Anne Rasmussen had 21 digs.

Omaha was led by Sadie Limback's 14 kills and Anna Blaschko added 11.

Omaha is now 11-7 overall and 6-0 in the Summit while USD is 11-8 and 5-2.

NORTHERN STATE 25, WAYNE STATE 14: Second-ranked Northern State swept Wayne State 25-22, 25-20, 25-14 in Northern Sun action on Friday.

Northern State was led by Hailey Busch's 16 kills while Morgan Baufield added 14 kills.

The Wildcats were led by Katie Stephens who had 13 kills, Megan Gebhardt had 39 assists and Haley Kauth added 11 digs.

Wayne State is now 16-6 overall and 8-5 in conference play. Northern State is now 20-1 and 12-1.

BUENA VISTA 3, UC SANTA CRUZ 1: Buena Vista rallied after dropping the first set to down UC Santa Cruz 23-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-20 as the St. Catherine Tournaemtn on Friday.

The Beavers were led by Kylie Roe and Sydney McLaren who had 15 and 14 kills, respectively. Mackenzie Gropel had 44 assists and Summer Goss added 28 digs.

UC Santa Cruz was paced by Maiya Sears' 10 kills.

BVU is now 11-8 on the season while UC Santa Cruz fell to 6-17.
