ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- No. 12 Northwestern swept ninth-ranked Midland 25-17, 25-16, 25-23 as both teams now sit at 10-2 in Great Plains Athletic Conference action.

The Red Raiders got 14 kills from Lauryn Hilger while Josie Blankespoor added seven. Lacey Wacker added 25 assists and nine digs.

Midland was paced by Maggie Hiatt who had 10 kills and Priscilla O'Dowd added eight.

Northwestern is now 19-5 overall and Midland is 18-4.

DORDT 3, CONCORDIA 0: The No. 8 Defenders swept the Bulldogs 25-10, 27-25, 26-24, in a Great Plains Athletic Conference volleyball match held in Sioux Center Saturday

Ema Altena had 14 kills and Jamie De Jager 35 assists to lead Dordt (19-2 overall, 12-0 GPAC) while Aubrey Drake had 15 digs.

HASTINGS 3, BRIAR CLIFF 1: The No. 14 Hastings volleyball team defeated Briar Cliff 20-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-17 in a Great Plains Athletic Conference match on Saturday in Sioux City.

Courtney Schafer finished with 14 kills for Briar Cliff (11-10, 5-7) and Grace Hanno added 10. Delaney Meyer dished out 22 assists and Victoria Gonzalez had 19. Danielle Coronado recorded 18 digs and Brooklyn Tolliver notched 10.

Sage Meyer tallied 14 kills and 10 digs for Hastings (14-5, 9-3).

WAYNE STATE 3, MSU MOORHEAD 0: Junior Katie Stephens recorded a match-high 15 kills while sophomore Alyssa Ballenger added a double-double with 12 kills and 15 digs to lift Wayne State to a 25-18, 25-20, 25-12 victory Saturday.

Senior setter Megan Gebhardt added a double-double with 40 set assists and 14 digs while junior libero Haley Kauth had 16 digs.

WSC is now 17-6 and 9-5 in NSIC games while MSUM falls to 9-12 and 5-9 in league play.

JAMESTOWN 3, MORNINGSIDE 0: The Jamestown volleyball team swept Morningside 25-16, 25-20, 25-23 in a Great Plains Athletic Conference match on Saturday in Jamestown, N.D.

Emma Gerber and Lauren Rohwer both finished with eight kills for Morningside (12-9, 6-5). Callie Alberico dished out 26 assists. Kayla Harris notched 27 digs and Krista Zenk added 14.

Britta Knudson tallied 10 kills for Jamestown (17-6, 7-5) and Julina Niemeier logged 20 digs.

ST. CATHERINE 3, BUENA VISTA 2: The St. Catherine volleyball team defeated Buena Vista 25-18, 20-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-13 at the St. Catherine tournament on Friday in St. Paul, Minn.

Sydney McLaren finished with 20 kills and 18 digs for BV (11-9). Brooke Runneberg recorded 14 kills. Mackenzie Gropel dished out 46 assists and added 21 digs. Summer Gross tallied 30 digs, Kylie Roe had 16 and Jade Hays added 12.

Erin Tebben registered 11 kills for St. Catherine (10-9) and Lauren Isaacson logged 10.
