Another one is in the books.

Saturday in the Park, that is. The 28th. In Grandview Park. With food, friends and fun.

Because the weather wasn't scorching hot (or threatening to rain), it was a nice mellow day, filled with a steady ebb and flow of music lovers who split their time between the main stage and the Abe stage.

Thanks to the eclectic lineup, there definitely was something for everyone -- from the retro sounds of Dave Mason and Steve Cropper to the up-to-the-minute tunes from 2018 Grammy winner Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. To whet the appetite, Boz Scaggs even played cuts from his "Out of the Blues" album, slated for release this month.

Arrested Development made sure the Abe stage held its own and local favorites ensured the beat will continue well into the winter months at smaller venues.

The usual suspects were in the crowd, too, and if you didn't happen to take a picture of someone you didn't know, you weren't trying, my friend. There were plenty of opportunities.

2018's Saturday in the Park was ripe for posting.

Here are a few of our snaps.
