Man charged with indecent exposure
SIOUX CITY | What a horrible holiday surprise.
On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, Randy Richard Williams, 43, was found by a Sioux City Night Patrol Security Officer in the hallway of the Follis Apartments at 923 Douglas St. wearing no clothing.
When asked why he was naked, Williams said he was waiting for a girl and they were going to "get the sex on", and he wanted to surprise her, court documents said. Williams was not allowed to be in the building and refused to leave when asked by the security guard. He was intoxicated and submitted to a PBT sample with a reading of .111 BAC, smelled of beer on his breath and had slurred speech.
He was charged with indecent exposure.
Man charged with felonies
SIOUX CITY | Maybe it accidentally got sawed-off?
A 27-year-old man was arrested after police allegedly found meth and a sawed-off shotgun on him Nov. 27.
Court documents say Aaron Privett, of Sioux City, was contacted around 11:30 p.m. in the 700 block of 8th Street because he had an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.
Police say they found a Mossberg .20 gauge shotgun with a sawed-off barrel in a backpack he was carrying. A bag containing approximately 0.2 grams of methamphetamine was in his pants pocket, the documents said. In a post-Miranda interview, Privett claimed the meth belonged to him.
He was booked into the Woodbury County Jail on a $30,000 bond and faces felony charges of a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of drugs.
