2. Bullwinkle beware!
Rocky’s antlered friend better not come to this rocking show at Castle Pub if he wants to keep his livelihood! DirtyMooseShooter will be playing a free show on Oct. 13. The live music will go from 8 p.m. to midnight. There is no cover to enjoy this night of good music. Come thirsty!
3. Viva VEGAS
After Jacob Martin LIVE had to cancel its show at The Marquee, Martin decided to go ahead and play a show anyway. Martin is getting his old band, VEGAS, back together for a night of fun, rockin’ ‘80s party music covers. The music will go from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Oct. 12. 1225 Fourth St.
4. The Ox
Enjoy a night of music from Bogues, Suntitle, Plans, Camden Miller and Winter Wayfarer. These five bands will keep you on your toes in this all-ages venue. Leave your troubles at the door and check out this cool night of music. The show goes from 6 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 13. 2615 Douglas St.
5. Folk it up
Learn classic acoustic folk songs as you jam with members of The Sioux City Conservatory of Music. Bring an acoustic instrument, or just come to enjoy the sounds of days gone by. Grab a glass (or a bottle!) of vino and zen out to your favorite yoga positions at Evolve Yoga & Wellness Center’s Wine Down Yoga.
