As if "Star Wars" fans needed another reason to be hyped for their favorite franchise.
Last weekend during the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra's holiday concert, C.E.O. Travis Morgan announced "Star Wars: A New Hope" would be shown at the Orpheum Theatre with the musical support of a full orchestra. The concert is scheduled for two dates: Sept. 29 and 30.
News of this arrives just one week before the franchise's next installment, "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," opens in theaters.
The "Star Wars" show will be performed in the same style as previous movie accompaniment shows like "Fantasia," "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Godfather," in which the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra plays along to the action onscreen.
Season tickets for the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra will go on sale May 4.
OH! Like, "May the Fourth be with you" kind of thing, right? Cool!
