SIOUX CITY — Whether you're an advanced mountain biker wanting to test your abilities on high-level trails with "crazy features" like sharp turns and berms, a beginner just getting a feel for a bike's peddles, or somewhere in between, Sioux City Recreation Superintendent John Byrnes encourages you to check out Cone Park's newest attraction.Â
When: Cone Park mountain biking is free for public use from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday – Monday.Â

More: Mountain bike rentals are available every Thursday – Sunday, beginning June 20 until Labor Day and on Saturdays and Sundays only from Labor Day to Oct. 12. Rental sessions run from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for a full day and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. for a half day. Rental fees are as follows:Â
Youth hardtail bike -- $30 half day, $50 full day, $85 weekend
Hardtail bike -- $30 half day, $50 full day, $85 weekend
Full suspension -- $45 half day, $70 full day, $120 weekend
Ebike -- $60 half day, $90 full day, $155 weekend
Lift pass -- $7 full day
