What is summertime in Sioux City without an X's ball game at Lewis & Clark Park? Grab a hot dog and an ice cold beverage -- it's time to play ball.Â
Going into the team's 25th season, improvements have been made in and around the stadium, including a new 8-foot-high padded outfield fence, a new scoreboard and freshly renovated bathrooms. The Explorers will announce a 25th anniversary team later this year, with a player at each position selected through fan voting. Fans can select their roster online at the Explorer's website.Â
Fans can expect an exciting, action-packed season with a whole host of anniversary celebrations. The first 500 fans to arrive for "Souvenir Saturday" home games will receive a free giveaway item. Visit xsbaseball.com for a full schedule of game day and season long promotions.Â
Same-day ticket prices are $8 for general admission, $12 for reserve seating and $14 for box seating. Games will begin at 7:05 p.m. Monday through Saturday and at 6:05 p.m. on Sunday. Gates open one hour prior to all game times.Â
